Geboren am Niederrhein und aufgewachsen zwischen Stoffen, Farben und Buntstiften, begleiteten mich kreative Experimente von klein auf. Neugier und Gestaltungsdrang waren ebenso selbstverständlich wie mein Pelikan-Malkasten und die Nähmaschine meiner Großmutter.

Schon früh entwarf ich kleine Sommerkollektionen, die ich mit Hingabe in ihrem Atelier umsetzte – inspiriert von ihrer handwerklichen Präzision und gestalterischen Freiheit. Mein Vater brachte mir das Fotografieren bei – analog, mit Geduld und Auge fürs Wesentliche. Die Technik hat sich gewandelt, die Intention ist geblieben: das Flüchtige sichtbar zu machen.

Ich verbinde technisches Know-how mit einer intuitiven Bildsprache, die zwischen Schärfe und Unschärfe, Licht und Schatten oszilliert. Meine Werke sind reduziert, still und geprägt von einer tiefen Achtsamkeit für das Wesen der Dinge.

Ich absolvierte ein freies Studium an der Kunstakademie Mönchengladbach und nahm an zahlreichen Workshops zu Fotografie, Ölmalerei und klassischer Bildkomposition teil.

In meinen aktuellen Arbeiten schweben florale Objekte auf einer entspiegelten Glasfläche. Was wie digital wirkt, entsteht analog – mit Zeit, Geduld und Licht.

Ich lebe in Düsseldorf. Meine Arbeiten sind in privaten Sammlungen vertreten und wurden in verschiedenen Ausstellungen gezeigt.

Born on the Lower Rhine and raised among fabrics, colours and coloured pencils, creative experimentation shaped my everyday life from an early age. Curiosity and a desire to create were as natural to me as the Pelikan paint box and my grandmother’s sewing machine.

I began designing small summer collections at a young age, realising them with dedication in her studio – inspired by her craftsmanship and creative freedom. My father taught me how to photograph – analogue, with patience and an eye for what matters. The technology may have changed, but the essence remains: to make the fleeting visible.

I combine technical know-how with an intuitive visual language that oscillates between clarity and blur, light and shadow. My work is reduced, quiet, and marked by a deep attentiveness to the nature of things.

I completed a non-traditional course of study at the Mönchengladbach Academy of Art and participated in numerous workshops on photography, oil painting, and classical composition.

In my recent work, floral objects appear to float on a specially treated, non-reflective glass surface. What may seem digital is, in fact, created entirely through analogue means – with time, patience, and light.

I live and work in Düsseldorf. My works are held in private collections and have been shown in various exhibitions.
